LIVING ELEMENTS: METAL + THE PHASE OF COMPLETION

For many years, Metal eluded me more than any other element. And then, for nearly five years, I lived this season in my own life. I learned it experientially and as such cherish its lessons and its gifts. Metal is the place of completion in the Five Element cycle, and there is a particular kind of wisdom that can only be acquired through completion. It has seen the seasons that came before it. It has weathered the storms. By the time we arrive at Metal, we are no longer asking what can be created, but what remains when a cycle has run its course—and what is worth carrying forward.
